Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Global Human Behavior Review (IJGHBR) invites high-quality, original manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of interdisciplinary research on human behavior. Authors are expected to follow these guidelines carefully to ensure clarity, consistency, and a smooth editorial and peer review process.

All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts that fail to meet the journal’s standards in terms of structure, formatting, or ethical compliance may be returned for revision or rejected at the initial editorial screening stage.

Types of Manuscripts Accepted

  • Original Research Articles: Empirical studies with clearly defined research questions, methodology, and findings.
  • Review Articles: Critical and systematic evaluations of existing literature offering new insights.
  • Conceptual and Theoretical Papers: Development of new theories, models, or conceptual frameworks.
  • Case Studies: Context-specific analyses providing applied or practical insights.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports of emerging or preliminary research findings.

Manuscript Preparation Structure

Authors must organize their manuscripts according to the standard academic structure outlined below. Each section should be clearly defined to ensure logical flow and readability.

Abstract: Should be between 150–250 words and summarize objectives, methodology, key findings, and implications.

Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. Authors are encouraged to ensure language quality prior to submission.

Referencing Style

IJGHBR follows the APA (7th Edition) referencing style. Authors must ensure that all references are accurate, complete, and consistently formatted. In-text citations must correspond exactly to the reference list.

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) should be included wherever available. References must be arranged alphabetically by the surname of the first author.

Plagiarism Policy

The journal enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and unethical publication practices. All submissions are screened using iThenticate (Crossref Similarity Check).

Manuscripts found to contain significant similarity, redundant publication, or unattributed content will be rejected immediately. Authors are advised to ensure originality and proper citation before submission.

Ethical Responsibilities

Authors must adhere to internationally accepted standards of research and publication ethics. Specifically, authors must ensure:

  • Accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data and findings.
  • Proper acknowledgment of all sources and contributions.
  • Disclosure of financial or non-financial conflicts of interest.
  • Compliance with ethical standards for studies involving human participants.

Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s official submission system or designated email address available on the journal website. Authors must ensure that all required documents are included at the time of submission.

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Authors will be notified of the editorial decision along with reviewer feedback.
